On Friday, I attended a valuable roundtable with local businesses from different sectors in Esher and Walton, including Creative Nature, a health food company, and Plus4Group, who develop software. It was a great initiative organised by the brilliant local branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
We had an interesting and varied discussion on, how to help start-ups to scale up, how to get careers advice from local businesses into schools, and general attitudes towards small businesses. It was great to hear about the exciting work and innovation that small businesses in Esher and Walton are doing.
