I enjoyed stopping by Molesey Library for their weekly coffee morning on Thursday to chat with residents about some of their local concerns, including access to GP appointments and the future of Molesey Hospital.
It was useful to talk about the work we are doing to strengthen local NHS services, as with record-high funding, there are now 19% more patient care staff practicing in GPs across Esher and Walton constituency than before the pandemic. To help reduce waiting times, Glenlyn Medical Centre is adopting new technologies to triage patients more quickly, and we are supporting the current redevelopment of Molesey Hospital.
