Today I had a useful meeting with Dr Jill Evans, Senior Partner at Esher Green Surgery and Chair, East Elmbridge Locality, at Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group.
We had a good discussion about the redevelopment plans for Molesey Community Hospital. The plans will allow the hospital to serve the community in broader ways, not just by providing inpatient beds and district nursing, but also serving as a hub for doctors and other services. I strongly support the plans and will be working hard to see them taken forward.
We also compared notes on the government’s science-led approach to tackling Coronavirus, and local efforts to advise and reassure residents.
