To mark World Book Day, I enjoyed stopping by the World Book Day event in Parliament this week.

World Book Day’s mission is to promote reading for pleasure. They create opportunities for more children from all backgrounds to experience choosing and owning a book.

This year’s reading for pleasure campaign is putting children’s voices first, encouraging reading as something children choose to do, rather than something they are simply compelled to do.

Happy World Book Day!
