From today for about the next month, Surrey County Council will be carrying out works outside St Lawrence Junior School in Molesey to install road safety improvements, including a zebra crossing.
Following a petition signed by 1,000 local residents calling for a safe crossing outside the school, Cllr Steve Bax and I have been working alongside the school and Surrey County Council to improve the safety of Church Road for the hundreds of children and their families travelling to and from the school each day.
