It was great to visit Walton Casuals FC yesterday (in a Covid-secure way), during the recruitment / trial day for their Football Academy.
The academy, based at the Elmbridge Sports Hub, is a state of the art facility which provides a huge range of sport opportunities for local young people. After an interesting tour, I was able to congratulate the academy on all their hard work this year, and give some encouragement to those taking part in the trials for the next academic year.
It was particularly good to meet some of the young people attending the trials, including Jeremiah (pictured), who made it into the First Team!
