I enjoyed catching up with local businesses in Thames Ditton and Long Ditton to listen to what more we can do to boost business for the high streets in both villages.
Many local businesses benefit from a loyal customer base in both villages. We discussed what more we can do to bring customers to the high streets from further afield.
Business owners also raised how Government business grants helped to see them through the pandemic, and what steps they have taken to change their business models in order to adapt to a different market post-Covid.
Both Thames Ditton and Long Ditton have some great independent shops and cafes on offer, and it was great to see so many local residents out and about making the most of our high streets.
