It was great to visit The Beech House in West Molesey on Friday.
Founded by Director and lead therapist Camilla McInnes, The Beech House is a fantastic residential care home for a small number of children and young people who may face challenges such as relationship issues or emotional difficulties.
Camilla and the other staff do a brilliant job of caring for these young people and supporting their development. I’ve been in touch with Camilla since the start of the pandemic about some of the difficulties Coronavirus posed for them, but this was a great opportunity to visit in person.
After a tour, I had the chance to meet some of the staff and young people, talking to them about a whole range of issues. I was very impressed by the team and young people – my thanks again to Camilla for hosting me.
