New GDP figures today show the economy grew by 0.6% between January and March 2024, returning to growth. This means the UK has the joint fastest growth in the G7 this quarter and this is the fastest quarter-on-quarter growth rate in over two years as we stick to the plan to grow the economy.

This is all despite a global pandemic, war in Ukraine and the Middle East, and global energy cost spikes. There’s still more to do, and this is why we must stick to the plan that’s working.
