I enjoyed dropping in at Zen in a Den in West Molesey alongside Councillor Steve Bax recently, to see what Kaley Lammert is doing at this unique forest school summer camp.
Zen in a Den is a forest school activity holiday camp which focuses on fostering kindness, resilience, independence and a love and respect for nature.
The theme for the day was nature, and it was fantastic to see the children make the most of the outdoors by making mud paints and dreamcatchers from bird feathers.
Later, the children joined me for one of my community litter picks along the river in West Molesey.
Thank you to everyone for your help to make the green spaces along the river a little bit tidier for the community to enjoy.
