Great news to see the Conservative government’s new NHS Dental Recovery plan, delivering 2.5 million additional NHS dental appointments over the next year to help people get the care they need. This includes:
- Incentives for dentist to work in under-served areas
- New Patient Premium payments to treat patients who haven’t seen a dentist in over two years
- New Smile for Life programme to expand preventative care for younger children to help reduce tooth decay
