The ‘Daily Hope’ phone line goes from strength to strength

Claygate Connections

It was great to learn that the ‘Daily Hope’ – a free phone line launched last year by the Church of England and Pippa Cramer at Holy Trinity Church in Claygate – has been going from strength to strength. The phone line (0800 804 8044), set up to allow people to listen to hymns, reflections and prayers, now also offers help for getting a good night’s sleep.

I first heard about the Daily Hope last year, when I visited Holy Trinity Church to hear about Pippa’s efforts to combat loneliness in the elderly population during the pandemic. The phone line has been a great help to the community during this difficult time, so its continued success and new offering is good news. My thanks to Pippa and the team at Holy Trinity for all they’re doing.
