Checking in on works to install zebra crossing outside St Lawrence School

It was great to stop by Church Road to check in on the works to install road safety improvements, including a zebra crossing, outside St Lawrence Junior School.

Following a petition signed by 1,000 local residents calling for a safe crossing outside the school, Cllr Steve Bax and I have been working alongside the school and Surrey County Council to improve the safety of Church Road for the hundreds of children and their families travelling to and from the school each day. Works are due to be finished by the end of April.
