Catching up with Elmbridge Eagles ahead of the first ever wheelchair Rugby League varsity game

It was great to see Elmbridge Eagles Head Coach, Kevin Rudd, alongside Chris Bryde from St Mary’s University, and Piers Anthony from Brunel University, in Westminster before they presented to the APPG for Rugby League ahead of the first ever wheelchair rugby league varsity game.

Final score: Brunel 40 – 22 St Mary’s

Thanks to Brunel and St Mary’s, with support from England Wheelchair RL, Wheelchair Rugby League is set to become part of the varsity tradition. Find out more and take part in wheelchair rugby with Elmbridge Eagles here.
